Ronda Rousey's ex-manager: "It was poetic justice", she's not a good person"

You gotta do what you gotta do...

- No sooner did Ronda Rousey lose her might of being the Undefeated, people saw an opportunity to get back at the former champion. When her rivals saw how things are going, another person jumping on the bandwagon was Rousey's Ex-Manager Darin Harvey.

The end of Ronda Rousey's winning streak gave many, like Harvey, a chance to take shots at the former Bantamweight champion. In his case, the ex-client, since their ugly legal dispute.

All began after Rousey chose her own path in 2013 after their four years and eight professional bouts together. Harvey's refusal to accept ‘status quo’ terms of the UFC while negotiating Rousey's contract put an end to their relationship. However, after watching the UFC 193 knockout, Harvey felt “Bittersweet”.

"Part of me was elated and part of me was saddened. The part of me that was saddened was that once I was identified with representing the top female fighter in the world. No longer do I have that title," he said.

Having tables turned in his favour, Harvey immediately took to Instagram and posted this:

With no love lost between the two, Harvey recalls the time when he took “Rowdy” like his daughter.

He says: “Just so much emotion. She was like a daughter to me at the beginning. She would spend the night at my house before all of her fights.”

Yet again, spitefully, Harvey plays the sympathy card by saying that he wasn't given any credits for making Ronda the star she is for the high profile magazines and the press.

“I created a monster,” he says.

On a self-pity note: “She believed she was as special as the press made her out to be. They give me absolutely no credit for the success of her career. She's not a good person. You don't forget where you came from.”

So finally, when he gets a chance to be a speaker from the damsel in distress, Harvey says it is Justice. Obviously, when the so-called “bad guy” in your life loses, who once made you feel like a loser. Yeah, it is not just justice but “poetic justice.” He goes on to rant:

“In a sense it was poetic justice because she's wronged so many people that were there for her at the beginning of her career. To not be part of something I was instrumental in creating, has been very difficult.”

The tree that has the maximum fruits gets the maximum stones. And so is the case with the former Bantamweight titleholder Ronda Rousey. As many went on to take hits at the champion, much more than them (including the haters) will love to see her make a comeback.
