Fans and pros were impressed with UFC newcomer Mansur Abdul-Malik's dominant TKO win over veteran fighter Dusko Todorovic.
At the milestone UFC Vegas 100 event on Nov. 9, Abdul-Malik assumed an aggressive posture from the opening bell and crowded Todorovic with power strikes. A combination from the UFC newcomer sent Todorovic crashing to the mat and he followed up with damaging shots.
To his credit, Todorovic attempted a few submissions and got back to his feet but a knee from the Xtreme Couture standout sent him back to the mat. As Abdul-Malik continued to land ground-and-pound shots from the standing position, the referee stopped the action to save Tudorovic from absorbing unnecessary punishment.
Statistically, Abdul-Malik outstruck Todorovic 31 to 3 in total strikes landed. He also scored the only knockdown of the fight, pulling off a near-flawless victory. With the win, he improved to 7-0 in his professional MMA career.
