Ali Abdelaziz has thrown Kevin Lee’s name in the mix for Jake Paul’s MMA debut opponent.

‘The Problem Child’ shocked the MMA community by signing with the Professional Fighters League. The former YouTuber is now committed to being an MMA fighter. Although a timeframe hasn’t been announced, Paul is in the market for an opponent to fight in 4-ounce gloves. PFL posted this on Twitter:

“So.....Who do you want to see @jakepaul fight in the SmartCage? Drop your pick”

Abdelaziz, who recently signed Lee, suggested that Paul fight his new client, saying this on Twitter:

“@MoTownPhenom”

‘Motown Phenom’ was once considered a threat to the UFC lightweight championship. The former interim title challenger established a promotional record of 11-7 and parted ways with the UFC after two consecutive losses. Lee bounced back in March 2022 by defeating Diego Sanchez at Eagle FC 46.

Although Lee deserves another big opportunity in MMA, ‘The Problem Child’ will likely go in a different direction. Anthony Pettis and Shane Burgos were two PFL fighters who called out the former YouTuber. With that said, Paul has his eyes set on a different opponent.

Jake Paul wants to fight Nate Diaz in MMA

Jake Paul hasn’t given up on potentially fighting Nate Diaz. Paul posted an extended video to announce his PFL signing and offered Diaz a two-fight series between MMA and boxing. Several hours later, ‘The Problem Child’ reiterated his callout towards the Stockton native. He had this to say in a video on Twitter:

“What can the haters say now? I signed to PFL. I’m doing MMA. Who wants it? Nate? Nate? Nate?”

Paul has made a name for himself in boxing, establishing a 6-0 pro record with four KOs. The 25-year-old now continues to surprise combat sports fans by pursuing MMA. The question is, will Diaz fight the former YouTuber in MMA?

After defeating Tony Ferguson at UFC 279, Diaz’s contract expired, making him an unrestricted free agent. Although he’s shown interest in fighting Paul, the Stockton native could be moving on with his latest tease being a social media post about the RIZIN logo.

Nonetheless, the 37-year-old said he wants to do everything as a free agent, and a two-fight series with ‘The Problem Child’ would contribute to that cause.
