ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong is certainly making up for lost time by bringing two stacked cards in the promotion’s return to the Philippines.

On December 2, the largest martial arts organization in the world will finally return to the Mall of Asia Arena after a two-year hiatus due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

The passionate Filipino fans will be treated to a full day of pulsating martial arts action, beginning with a clash between two undefeated world champions at ONE on Prime Video 5. The full card will air for free in US primetime for those with an Amazon Prime Video subscription.

Two-division ONE world champion Reinier de Ridder will be defending his ONE light heavyweight throne against interim ONE heavyweight world champion Anatoly Malykhin.

Two other world titles will also be up for grabs, as Superbon Singha Mawynn puts his ONE featherweight kickboxing gold strap on the line against Chingiz Allazov. Allycia Hellen Rodrigues will also be defending the women’s atomweight Muay Thai world title versus Janet Todd.

The thrilling combat action does not end there.

Chatri Sityodtong vowed to end the year with a bang, and he's certainly doing so with the explosive line-up of fights at ONE 164. The massive card, which features some of the Philippines' best warriors, will take place just a few hours after ONE on Prime Video 5.

Crowd darling Joshua Pacio will be headlining the event as he looks to keep his ONE strawweight world title against Jarred Brooks.

Chatri Sityodtong recently appeared on CNN Philippines’ Sports Desk to promote the event. The ONE chief said:

“Also, it's a very fascinating one for the Philippines because it's going to be a doubleheader. On the same day, you're going to have a morning show beamed live on Amazon Prime to America, and the same day a night show beamed around the world, so Filipino fans are in for a massive treat. It's an all-day festival, all-day fiesta. We have martial arts action, the very, very best in the world.”

Chatri Sityodtong has brought out the "big guns" for ONE 164

The Filipino masses have always welcomed ONE with open arms over the years.

While the world-famous Filipino hospitality applies to every foreign fighter who steps inside the circle at the Mall of Asia Arena, nothing still beats the crowd’s love for their own homegrown local fighters.

As such, Chatri Sityodtong made sure the country’s local heroes take center stage at the promotion’s final event of 2022.

Aside from Pacio, his Team Lakay stablemates are also set to return at ONE 164, including Geje Eustaquio, Jeremy Pacatiw, and Jenelyn Olsim. Brandon Vera, another Filipino fan-favorite, is also scheduled to take on Amir Aliakbari.

Chatri Sityodtong said in the same interview:

“We also have Danny Kingad, we also have Eduard Folayang. We also have Geje Eustaquio, we also have Jenelyn Olsim. So we're bringing out all the big guns from the Philippines. And it's literally going to be the Philippines against the world. It's going to be an incredibly stacked card, of course.”

Both cards could be finalized in the coming days, and more Filipino fighters are expected to be added.
