In March 2023, Cain suffered his lone professional boxing defeat due to a split decision against Ionut Baluta. Since then, the Liverpool-born fighter rattled off two wins inside the distance in 2024, leading to an opportunity for him to fight in his hometown on Saturday, Oct. 4.

Cain's upcoming opponent is Casseres, who holds a professional record of 11-1 (4 KOs). The Columbian boxer ended a near-two-year layoff in March by securing a sixth-round TKO win against Karluis Diaz. Casseres now looks to play spoiler for Cain's homecoming party and walk away with a title.
