Arturo Popoca Cardenas vs. Jesus Arechiga Valdez: Live round-by-round updates

Arturo Popoca Cardenas vs. Jesus Arechiga Valdez for the WBC Continental Americas super bantamweight title will go down later tonight on the undercard of the super middleweight clash between Diego Pacheco vs. Maciej Sulecki.

Cardenas (14-0-1) is currently on a 12-fight win streak. After winning the Continental Americas title from Ernesto Garcia Flores in February, the 23-year-old successfully defended it against Danny Barrios Flores in June.

Valdez (21-1) was last seen in a unanimous decision loss to Jose Ramirez Maciel in March. He'll be looking forward to getting back in the win column this time around. 'Veneno' is a former NABF welterweight champion.

According to Box.Live, Popoca is a -500 favorite for the match, with Valdez as a +400 underdog.
