Aung La N Sang battles returning Gilberto Galvao at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video this January

'The Burmese Python' Aung La N Sang will be back in the ONE circle at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video on January 13. The former two-division world champion's dance partner for the occasion has been confirmed to be 'Giba' Gilberto Galvao.

ONE Championship shared the news on Instagram:

"JANUARY 13 - LIVE IN U.S. PRIMETIME 🔥 Your first look at the official ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video fight card."

Aung La N Sang is just coming off a TKO victory against MMA veteran 'Thunder Yushin Okami. The 37-year-old athlete will look to do the same against the dangerous Brazilian 'Giba' Galvao.

On Instagram, Aung La posted about how much he is looking forward to performing for the fans once again. The fighter and father shared:

"In less than one month we make the walk again! We will be on prime time in the USA on @primevideosport #AmazonPrimeVideo6. For the fans in Thailand, you can come watch me live at the Impact Arena, in Bangkok."

ONE Fight Night 6 will be broadcasted live and free on Amazon Prime Video in US primetime for combat sports fans in North America. The January 13 event will also feature three world title clashes.


Aung La N Sang wants a world title in ONE Championship

Aung La N Sang is back on the warrior trail. Aung La once held two illustrious world titles in the ONE Championship. After losing both of his crowns, Aung La is looking to work his way back into the middleweight world title picture.

It has already begun with a win over the MMA veteran Yushin Okami. At ONE Fight Night 6 on January 13, Aung La will be looking to add another victory and take a step closer to a shot at the throne.

In an interview with Tom Taylor of South China Morning Post, Aung La said:

"I have really high-level grapplers at my disposal that I can work with. So it's not a matter of, ‘Can I do it?’ It's a matter of when. It's going to take time, I'm probably going to have to beat a few more guys. So it is what it is. I'm willing to climb back to the top."
