ONE Championship is built on respect and honor, which has resulted in a family-like atmosphere for their superstars. It’s common to see ONE fighters train together or meet up to enjoy a special moment. ‘The Burmese Python’ is the poster child for these types of interactions, including Stamp recently saying she is his number one fan.
During an interview with SCMP MMA, Aung La responded to Stamp’s praise by saying:

Aung La N Sang signs on for another fight days after winning at ONE Fight Night 6
Aung La N Sang took minimal damage against Gilbert Galvao and plans to waste no time before getting back to training. Only days after fighting at ONE Fight Night 6, ‘The Burmese Python’ has signed a contract to fight again. He posted the announcement on Instagram with the caption saying:
“Fight signed 📝 Back to work we go! 👊”
‘The Burmese Python’ is a former two-division world champion. At 37 years old, Aung La has shown no signs of slowing down after winning three of his last four fights. Signing another contract shortly after fighting is another reason to believe he will fight for a world title again before retiring.
It’s unclear when and who Aung La is fighting next. With that said, the Myanmar native has been vocal about wanting to fight at ONE’s U.S. debut on May 5. The timelines match up, so it’ll be intriguing to see if ‘The Burmese Python’ is making the trip to Broomfield, Colorado.
