Former ONE middleweight and light heavyweight world champion ‘The Burmese Python’ Aung La N Sang isn’t worried about heading up into high elevation for his next fight.

The Burmese-American mixed martial arts legend is headed to Colorado to compete at ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs Moraes III on Prime Video. He is scheduled to face hard-hitting Chinese fighter Fan Rong in a middleweight contest.

The event will stream live and for free in the United States and Canada via Amazon Prime.

Speaking to The MMA Superfan in a recent interview, Aung La N Sang talked about fighting in high altitude in Colorado, and a simple solution he has for it.

‘The Burmese Python’ said:

“[Yes, I'll head to Colorado early], but not too early, about two-and-a-half weeks [before]. I’ll do the bulk of my training here [in Florida]. In the last two-and-a-half weeks, I’ll get there and acclimate. I’ll be fine. It’s just a three-rounder. If I knock him out in the first round we won’t have to keep fighting. I won’t have to worry about the altitude.”

Bold words coming from Aung La N Sang, but not unfounded. Aung La has 15 knockouts out of 29 career wins. He stopped Yushin Okami and Gilberto Galvao with first-round finishes in his most recent fights.

Against Fan, Aung La faces a well-rounded veteran adept at both striking and grappling, which poses a serious challenge for the Kill Cliff star.

ONE Fight Night 10 features the third fight between ‘Mighty Mouse’ Demetrious Johnson and ‘Mikinho’ Adriano Moraes for the ONE flyweight world title in the evening’s main event. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda MMA for all the latest coverage surrounding the event.
