Aung La N Sang is going into his next fight with Yushin Okami with full confidence that he’s well prepared to take him down.

The hotly anticipated matchup of legend vs. legend goes down on Saturday, November 19, on a double-header card at ONE 163. ‘The Burmese Python’ is itching to get back inside the circle, hoping to rebound from a decision loss to Vitaly Bigdash last February.

As a veteran of the sport, he believes he’s still got a lot to offer despite his age. Eager to showcase what he’s learned a thing or two since his last fight with Bidgash, 'The Burmese Python' is making the right adjustments to make his match against Okami a quick fight.

Speaking to The MMA-Superfan, Aung La revealed that he’s prepared enough for this matchup not to be worried or intimidated by what Okami has to offer:

“If I’m on point and I’m sharp it’s gonna be [good]. I’ve prepared myself well enough and I don’t think there’s anything that he’s gonna do to me that I haven’t seen in the ring. I think if I touch him he’s gonna go down, it’s just a matter of me being able to land my shots.”

Aung La holds an impressive record of 12-4 under the ONE Championship banner, suffering only two losses apiece to Reinier de Ridder and Vitaly Bigdash.

Trading punches with the toughest competitors in both the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions, Yushin Okami will feel like just another work-day for the 37-year-old icon. Possessing a scary finishing rate of 83%, it’s no wonder Aung La feels like he’s capable of getting the job done with one clean shot.
