English light heavyweight Luke Trainer was definitely the main attraction at Bellator 293. After an impressive first-round submission win over the undefeated Sullivan Cauley, 'The Gent' capped off his night by proposing to his girlfriend inside the cage.

There might not be many ways to top a marriage proposal inside the octagon. However, an enthusiastic Trainer went a step further by delivering a sweet-yet NSFW line to sweep his better half off her feet. She said yes, and the duo capped off the heartwarming moment with a kiss.

During his post-fight interview with Big John McCarthy, his girlfriend was called up to the cage, and the MMA fighter popped the question, saying:

"Baby girl, I love you so much, you are everything to me. I can’t wait to put babies inside of you. Will you do me the honor of being my wife?"

Luke Trainer is 7-1 as a professional mixed martial artist and enjoys a 4-1 record inside the Bellator cage. He is currently on a two-fight win streak, with both the wins coming via first-round rear-naked choke submissions.

The 27-year-old has previously fought under promotions such as Rise of Champions, FightStar Championship, and Euro Fight Night. He is a former Euro Fight Night light heavyweight tournament winner.
