Breaking: PFL Europe appoints former UFC star as Head of Fighter Operations

The Professional Fighters League recently made a significant announcement regarding the appointment of Dan Hardy as the new director of fighter operations for PFL Europe. Hardy is a well-known former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) veteran. He will take charge of the fighter operations division and play a vital role in overseeing and managing European talent for the organization.

As the new director of fighter operations for Europe, Dan Hardy has an essential role to play in the success of the organization's inaugural season. He will be responsible for not only identifying and recruiting new talent but also ensuring the well-being and development of fighters under the PFL Europe banner.

In addition, Hardy will be working closely with Ray Sefo, the global PFL president of fighter operations, on all matchmaking decisions.

The former welterweight has nearly 20 years of professional MMA experience under his belt. Throughout his illustrious career, Hardy has competed against some of the biggest names in the sport and achieved an impressive record of 25 professional wins. As a result, he is widely considered to be one of the most exceptional mixed martial artists ever produced in Europe.

After retiring from active competition, Hardy continued to make significant contributions to the MMA world as a respected figure in the industry. He has earned a reputation for providing excellent commentary and delivering sharp, insightful fight breakdowns.

On Ariel Helwani's The MMA Hour show, Dan Hardy revealed the biggest role of his career and stated:

"I have joined forces with Professional Fighting League. I have joined the company as Director of the fighting operation for PFL Europe. So, I have got a great opportunity to really have good influence in Europe."

The inaugural PFL Europe roster announced

PFL Europe is an upcoming mixed martial arts league, the first of its kind for the Professional Fighters League. It aims to showcase the top MMA fighters in Europe. The league's inaugural season is set to commence on March 25 in Newcastle and will host quarterly events throughout 2023.

The innovative league will feature 32 of Europe's most talented mixed martial artists, hailing from 14 different nations. They will compete in four different weight classes. After each of the four events, a European champion will be crowned in each weight class, with each winner receiving a $100,000 prize.

The champions of PFL Europe will also have the opportunity to compete for a spot on the promotion's global fight card and a shot at the $1 million global season reward.
