Chael Sonnen believes Justin Gaethje vs. Dustin Poirier is the fight to make

Chael Sonnen gives fans his views on the latest developments in the MMA and combat sports world. He recently reacted to Justin Gaethje calling out Dustin Poirier to a fight. The pair had fought once before back in 2018 at UFC on Fox 29. The match was a slugfest and a thoroughly entertaining encounter between two of the best strikers in the division.

In his video, Sonnen asked fans to band together to get him that fight:

"If Justin Gaethje made it clear that he wanted something within the sport, I think that we would have to band together and get it for him. Just as a guy who's given us so much entertainment and never asked for anything."

Sonnen also went on to say that the same can be said in the case of Dustin Poirier and that if the fight did take place, it would be a bludgeoning of a lifetime. The pair have the perfect backstory for a second fight.
