ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong can hardly wait for the main event battle between Danial Williams and Superlek Kiatmoo9. The ONE flyweight kickboxing world title showdown will headline ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video on March 24.

Originally, 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek was booked against Muay Thai superstar 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon. Unfortunately, Rodtang suffered an undisclosed injury and was forced to pull out of the bout.

To replace 'The Iron Man', they brought in one of the most exciting fighters in ONE, 'Mini T' Danial Williams. The Thai-Australian fighter earned two knockout wins in 2022 alone and is best known for his 2021 war against Rodtang.

Chatri Sityodtong feels that the new main event might be "as exciting in not more" than Superlek vs. Rodtang. The ONE CEO explained:

"You know, [Danial Williams] is an unbelievable barnburner of a fighter, KO artist, [and always] comes guns blazing. And he's got a granite chin. So when you look at Superlek versus Mini T, I tell you, it's going to be just as exciting if not more exciting than Superlek versus Rodtang. It's going to be a barnburner, and I don't think it's going to last the full five rounds."

ONE Fight Night events are broadcast live and for free in North America via Prime Video.

Superlek and Danial Williams getting ready for war

Superlek and Danial Williams are preparing to battle for the ONE flyweight kickboxing world title. The Thai-born Superlek is best known for his kicking speed and power, which has earned him the moniker 'The Kicking Machine'.

Superlek earned the ONE flyweight kickboxing throne in January when he defeated Daniel Puertas. At ONE Fight Night 8 on March 24, 'Mini T' is coming for the crown.

Williams is an expert in the 'Art of Eight Limbs' and has power in each attack. Whether he is striking with his fists, elbows, knees, or kicks, fighters are wary of engaging with 'Mini T'. While he will be competing in a different ruleset, the Australian-Thai striker will be ready to bring everything in his arsenal to claim Superlek’s world title.

Fans are looking forward to the ONE Fight Night 8 headlining bout between the two strikers.
