Boxing world champion Claressa Shields recently took to Twitter to invalidate former UFC fighter Greg Hardy's victory over professional boxer Hasim Rahman Jr.

The fight took place at Misfits Boxing 3, an event held on November 19 in Austin, Texas. 'Prince of War' dropped Rahman Jr. in the second round and was able to secure a decision victory over his opponent.

However, Claressa Shields did not seem to think much of Hardy's performance and pointed to the stark difference in weight between the competitors. She said the following on Twitter:

"Greg acting like he really did something... you 330 lbs. vs. someone 226 lbs.! Fight a heavyweight! @GregHardyJr"

Shields then went on to congratulate Rahman Jr. for his bravery:

"Respect to my guy @_HasimRahmanJr all the heart in the world! I’m the GWOAT & I stepping in there with nobody 100 pounds bigger than me and have knowledge in a combat sport! You held your own!"

Claressa Shields labels Hardy vs. Rahman Jr. as "illegal," advises Hasim Rahman Jr. to drop down a weight class

Claressa Shields has taken to Twitter to brand the recent boxing match between Greg Hardy and Hasim Rahman Jr. as "illegal."

Hardy went into the fight with a substantial weight advantage, weighing in at roughly 320lbs, while Rahman Jr. weighed around 226lbs.

Shields took to Twitter to call out the ludicracy of the matchup:

"This s**t should be illegal, this dude 100 pounds bigger than him. S**t wack."

See the tweet below:

Shields then advised Rahman Jr. to drop down in weight class. She quote-tweeted 'Gold Blooded' after he suggested a move in weight divisions:

"Cruiser is definitely a weight class for you! Gotta sacrifice to get there"

Claressa Shields then doubled down on her claim that the weight advantage was the reason Hardy dominated the fight in a reponse to former professional boxer Ishe Smith:

"Former NFL player & Mma fighter! Been in with some UFC champs. He has some combat experience & athletic. And I agree with you… some! But that 100 pounds was a huge advantage"

Greg Hardy has played in the NFL as well as competed professionally in MMA. But according to Shields, his combat sports experience had little to do with his victory over Hasim Rahman Jr.
