Sunny Edwards and Galal Yafai went to war in the headlining fight of a stacked card in Birmingham, England, on Nov. 30. The beef between the families painted a tense backdrop to their WBC interim title fight, with Yafai's brother, Kal, captured sharing some heated words with Edwards pre-fight.
Kal Yafai is a former WBA super-flyweight world champion. During his career, he shared beef with Charlie Edwards, Sunny's older brother, whom previously held the WBC flyweight title.
To boot, the Edwards brothers themselves have had issues with one another in the past.
A member of Yafai's camp observed 'Showtime' having his hands wrapped in the locker room before the interim title clash. With Edwards sitting patiently getting his hands prepared for the impending fight, Yafai could be seen egging him on and trying to get into his head.

Sunny Edwards shares shock retirement after loss to Galal Yafai
Sunny Edwards vs. Galal Yafai headlined an exciting night of fights in Birmingham, England, on Nov. 30. The pair faced off in a rematch of their amateur clash in 2015, where Edwards secured a decision win.
Their second fight was contested for the WBC interim championship at 112 pounds. Yafai exacted his revenge as he secured a sixth-round TKO win to line up a WBC title fight next year.
Following the finish, 'Showtime' unexpectedly announced his retirement from boxing at 28 years old, saying:
"My team know this. Win, lose or draw I was retiring tonight. I don't have the same energy that I had for the sport, for the process. I put in so much into the first six or seven years of my career that I just needed a break."
