ONE Championship top-five contender Danial Williams has competed at the professional level in three different sports. He hopes to inspire the next generation of fighters through performances inside the circle and teaching young athletes.

The 29-year-old strawweight has picked up pro victories in MMA, Muay Thai, and kickboxing. Danial Williams is 3-2 under ONE Championship's banner, which includes a Performance of the Night effort in his fourth appearance.

'Mini T' believes he has what it takes to inspire the next generation of fighters. He delved into the topic in an interview with the promotion, saying:

"That’s my goal. Three sports, inspire the next generation. They can be four-sport world champions now. I’m training kids that are really good at jiu-jitsu, really good at Muay Thai, already starting MMA at nine and seven years old."

Danial Williams added:

"It’s just cool to see what ONE is doing as a martial arts promotion and how they can inspire the great stories of the next generation."

Williams trains and teaches at both Kao Sok Muay Thai and Scrappy MMA, sharpening his skills and guiding young athletes along the way.

Danial Williams names three fighters who impressed him in 2022

While Williams graced the circle four times in 2022 – amassing a 3-1 record – he was impressed by a few other fighters on the roster. He told ONE:

“The big Russian man [Anatoly Malykhin], he’s always exciting in what he’s done. But also, Christian Lee. I think it’s pretty crazy what he’s done to step up in weight, and [opponent Kiamrian Abbasov] didn’t even make weight."

'Mini T' added:

"[Lee and Abbasov] had that barnburner of a fight. He’s so young, and I’m like this guy is pretty skilled to step up in weight. Other than that, Jarred Brooks, I gotta give it to him, plain and sweet this year.”

Anatoly Malykhin delivered one of the most memorable showings in recent years as he handed Reinier de Ridder his first defeat. Meanwhile, Christian Lee achieved double-champ status with his win over Kiamrian Abbasov.

Also, the strawweight division has a new king named Jarred Brooks. 'The Monkey God' dethroned long-time champ Joshua Pacio to cap off an incredible run to the title.

Make sure to check back for an announcement regarding Danial Williams's next fight, as he'll look to rebound from his recent loss to Jeremy Miado.
