Anytime Williams steps into the Circle, he’s willing to do whatever it takes to win. In April 2021, ‘Mini T’ took on Rodtang in Muay Thai, hoping to solidify his legacy with an upset win. Although ‘The Iron Man’ emerged victorious, the Australian-Thai fighter gained some fans for his efforts.

Williams hasn’t fought in Muay Thai since losing to Rodtang. ‘Mini T’ has been focusing on MMA, with four fights in 2022. During that time, the 29-year-old secured wins against Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke, Namiki Kawahara, and Zelang Zhaxi. He last fought against Jeremy Miado in October 2022, losing by a third-round knockout.

Danial Williams was initially supposed to fight Rui Botelho on March 24. Rodtang Jitmuangnon was scheduled to fight in the main event for the ONE flyweight kickboxing world championship, but he pulled out with a last-minute injury. As a result, Williams was promoted to the main event against reigning champion Superlek Kiatmoo9.
Williams finds himself with a massive opportunity. The former WMC Muay Thai world champion could shock the world and change his life by taking out Superlek. With that said, the task will be easier said than done.
In the ONE Fight Night 8 co-main event, Allycia Hellen Rodrigues looks to gain undisputed world champion status by defeating interim atomweight Muay Thai title holder Janet Todd.
