Former ONE women's atomweight submission grappling world champion Danielle Kelly takes great pride in being one of the faces of women's submission grappling — especially as a 115-pound competitor.

In an interview with JitsCast, the Silver Fox BJJ affiliate stated:

"A lot of times, I feel like in general, it's usually the bantamweight or the 135 girls, or maybe the 125 girls that get more of the attention. So I'm really happy that I can showcase jiu-jitsu cause I feel like the smaller people - not saying big people aren't technical - but I feel like we're pretty fast and technical. So, yeah, it feels really good to put that out there."

Aside from her charming personality and pleasant demeanor outside of the circle, Kelly's unparalleled ferocity whenever she competes has made her one of the promotion's most recognizable submission grappling athletes.

Since her promotional debut in March 2022, the 28-year-old has been dazzling fans with her display of technical grappling and athletic prowess, which have led to her three victories under the ONE banner.

Kelly's next foray inside the circle will see her gunning to reclaim the ONE women's atomweight submission grappling world championship from Mayssa Bastos at ONE Fight Night 26 on Friday, Dec. 6.

Danielle Kelly feels no pressure heading into Mayssa Bastos rematch

Danielle Kelly feels relieved that she will be entering her world title rematch with Mayssa Bastos inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, with zero pressure on her shoulders.

Kelly explained her thoughts in an interview with ONE:

"I don't feel any stress this time, which is pretty scary just because you're kind of going out there, and you're having this mindset of not having anything to lose."

ONE Fight Night 26 will air live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
