ONE atomweight submission grappler Danielle Kelly isn't just a dangerous assassin on her back, she can also put you on your butt if you're not careful. Kelly's wrestling prowess is highly underrated as she's been putting fighters away on her back.

In a video posted on Danielle Kelly's Instagram account, the Silverfox Brazilian jiu-jitsu Blackbelt reminded everyone that her wrestling is not to be trifled with. The video was of a local jiu-jitsu tournament where Kelly caught her opponent with a slick ankle pick takedown that would make Tony Ferguson proud.

Here's the video:

"Ankle pick Mondays 💪🏼 make sure you’re working on your wrestling 🤼‍♀️"

The dreaded ankle pick is one of those takedowns that are so sneaky that it would have you thinking, "What in the world just happened?". It often fools competitors of its effectiveness as it requires very little power to execute effectively. All you need is misdirection, timing, finesse and a tightly executed technique to pull off.

Danielle Kelly edged out Ayaka Miura in the most competitive submission grappling match in ONE Championship history

Danielle Kelly and Ayaka 'Zombie' Miura put on perhaps the most competitive and exciting submission grappling match in ONE Championship so far. The bout, which took place at ONE Fight Night 7 last month, saw Kelly rally late to win a close decision win.

ONE's submission grappling division is still in its infancy and the match between the two women was the first time both competitors equally put each other in real danger. 'Zombie' came close to locking in her trademark "Ayaka Lock", which single-handedly held the breath of the crowd at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.

As a mixed martial artist who dabbles in grappling, Miura did way more than was expected. For more than half of the bout, Miura had a one-catch lead over Danielle Kelly. The American Black Belt, however, showed extreme composure and resilience, making a valiant comeback in the final minutes of the match.

In one of the most heart-stopping moments of the submission grappling contest, Danielle Kelly locked in a tight rear-naked choke on her Japanese foe. It was so tight that we finally understood why Miura is nicknamed 'Zombie'. She never came close to tapping out or passing out.

In the end, Kelly made two clutch submission attempts which resulted in a 2-1 lead as the time expired.
