Danielle Kelly is looking forward to catching the submission grappling action at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video.

Kelly will make her return to the circle on February 24 against Japanese MMA standout Ayaka Miura, but that won’t be the only submission grappling showdown featured at the event. Sambo world champion Uali Kurzhev returns to take on Norwegian submission star Tommy Langaker in a bout that will once again pit a Sambo specialist against a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt.

In an interview with The MMA Superfan, Danielle Kelly shared her thoughts on the intriguing matchup, saying:

“There is another jiu-jitsu match. [Tommy] Langaker, I think he’s fighting a sambo guy, Uali [Kurzhev]? I think he competed against Kade. I think that’s pretty interesting, another jiu-jitsu versus sambo match. But I’m just really focused on my match for this one.”

Kurzhev, a four-time Sambo world champion, made his ONE Championship debut at ONE on Prime Video 3 against ADCC world champion Kade Ruotolo for the inaugural ONE lightweight submission grappling world championship.

The 33-year-old Russian will face another tough test against Tommy Langaker, a decorated grappler with 120 career victories to his credit. Langaker scored a win his in promotional debut at ONE 160 by earning a unanimous decision over Renato Canuto.

ONE Fight Night 7 is available live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.

Danielle Kelly reacts to Mikey Musumeci’s destruction of Gantumur Bayanduuren

As we march towards another stacked lineup at ONE Fight Night 7, fans and fighters are still buzzing about the performance of ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion Mikey Musumeci at ONE Fight Night 6. The fan-favorite grappling star earned another dominant victory inside the circle against Mongolia’s Gantumur Bayanduuren.

Locking up Bayanduuren’s for a significant portion of the 10-minute match, the Sambo world champion simply refused to tap out, leaving Musumeci with no choice but to continue wrenching on the knee and ankle of Bayanduuren. In the end, Musumeci’s challenger was left with a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus. Danielle Kelly reacted to the gruesome injury during her conversation with The MMA Superfan.

"It’s not really a favorite, it is a favorite, but it also sucks for the guy. Mikey was just attacking his legs and the guy just refused to tap. So, pretty much Mikey was showing how jiu-jitsu does work if you don’t tap."
