Former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till is set to make his highly anticipated return at UFC 282 against Dricus Du Plessis. Here's what the odds are for the matchup.

Based on the live odds in DraftKings Sportsbook, Dricus Du Plessis is a slight -140 favorite for the fight, while Till is the +120 underdog. However, as the event is still six days away, the odds may vary as the fight draws nearer.

According to the current odds, a $1000 bet on 'Stillknocks' can fetch users a payout of $1,714.28 if the South African wins the bout. The same wager on the Scouser will result in a payout of $2,200 if he gets his hand raised.

Till has been having a rough patch in the UFC lately. Although once touted as a future champion, Till is currently on a two-fight losing streak. Moreover, the 29-year-old is 1-4 in his last five. In his last fight at UFC Fight Night 191, Till succumbed to a third-round submission loss to Derek Brunson.

Nevertheless, he holds wins against promotional legends such as Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson and Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone. The Englishman has a pro record of 18-4.

However, Du Plessis is yet to face the high level of competition that Till brings to the octagon.

Dricus Du Plessis predicts his fight with Darren Till

During a recent interview with MMA journalist James Lynch, South African fighter Dricus Du Plessis predicted that his fight with former welterweight title challenger Darren Till was not going to go the distance.

The 28-year-old stated that although 'The Gorilla' is a tough opponent to put away, he will finish the Englishman in the second round:

"I think Darren Till is an extremely tough guy to finish. He has that willpower to always keep on going, no matter how tired he looks, no matter how fatigued he looks. But this is not going to [be the case in] this fight. I can almost guarantee you [that] this fight is not going the distance and I believe I'm finishing Darren Till either by KO or TKO in the second round."
