Duangsompong Jitmuangnon will be battling Batman Or.Atchariya’s this week at ONE Friday Fights 4 on February 10 in the main event. Batman is a highly skilled Muay Thai striker but Duangsompong is confident in his ability to get it done.

Comparing their respective skills, Duangsompong spoke in an interview with ONE Championship. The flyweight fighter explained:

“Batman’s strengths are probably his kicks and flying knees. But I’m not afraid of them. I’ve focused on training and neutralizing his game. I just have to watch out for his punches, elbows, and counters"

Batman will bring experience and precision to the iconic Lumpinee Stadium headlining match. Duangsompong seems well aware of the challenges ahead of him, as he added:

"I’ve always followed Batman’s performances. He’s a skilled fighter. But I want him to trade blows with me in our fight. I don’t want him to back down too much.”

Although, it is likely Duangsompong has faced tougher in the gym as he is a training partner of 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon, the current ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion. The flyweight Muay Thai fighter continued:

“When I watch Rodtang fight, I want to become a ONE World Champion and earn a lot of money like him.”

Duangsompong Jitmuangnon wants to make it to ONE Championship's arena events

There is prestige in competing at the Lumpinee Stadium under ONE, however, Duangsompong Jitmuangnon wants to win and advance to fight on the main card for ONE Championship. The Thai-born athlete explained:

“I will do my best in this fight so I can get promoted to fight on ONE Championship’s [arena] cards. It has always been my dream to compete in the big events of ONE Championship."

The two talented Thai-born athletes will be competing in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 4 on February 10 in what is expected to be a war. Neither flyweight striker plans on backing down. In the upcoming Muay Thai war, Duangsompong Jitmuangnon will even be aiming to earn a performance bonus from ONE. He added:

"I have to be more concise than before. I think this match will not go the distance because I plan to [get the finish and] receive a bonus.”
