Coach weighs in on whether Dustin Poirier will return to competition after UFC 318

Over the years, many fighters have made a comeback to MMA competition after officially retiring from the sport. As a result, retirement announcements are often received skeptically within the MMA community.

In a recent interview with Damon Martin of MMA Fighting, Dustin Poirier's coach, Mike Brown, was asked if he thinks 'The Diamond' would get back in the octagon. Brown replied:

"I think so. You never say never, but he's done well for himself, he's made a boatload of money. He doesn't need to fight. It would have to be something pretty enticing. That could always happen, but I think he's content with his accomplishments, the money he's made and what he's done. So I think it is [his final fight]."
