Fabricio Andrade responds to fans in ONE Championship AMA

Fabricio Andrade took some time away from training to engage with fans.

‘Wonder Boy’ is preparing for the biggest challenge of his career: a lightweight title fight against John Lineker at ONE on Prime Video 3. Due to the highly-anticipated main event, Andrade has been submerged in interviews and media opportunities.

ONE Championship offered their fans the opportunity to ask Andrade questions. Here are the questions the 25-year-old responded to during the “Ask Me Anything” session:

"What’s your game plan? - Just do my game and finish him”

“What’s the first thing you’re gonna do after you break the stone? - I am gonna go back to my room and stare at my belt for a couple hours.”

“What made you get into Muay Thai and have and what's the worst thing you've experienced? - One friend invited me to try and I liked from first session, ribs injuries.”

“How did your striking change when you switched from Muay Thai to MMA? 'm quitting Muay Thai and trying to do MMA. - My style didn’t change, just [adapted] to MMA and improved with time.”

At 25 years old, Andrade could break out as a superstar with a win against Lineker. ‘Wonder Boy’ is 5-0 in ONE, including four wins inside the distance. The possibilities are endless for the former Muay Thai fighter.

Fabricio Andrade says he’s struggling to find sparring partners

Fabricio Andrade trains out of Tiger Muay Thai with plenty of other high-level fighters. Despite the various fighters available, ‘Wonder Boy’ has admitted to driving sparring partners away because of his relentless training style. The bantamweight title contender told ONE Championship:

“I used to train with many big names before. But for this fight, it’s been hard to find training partners because people don’t want to spar [with] me. I’m not a guy who goes easy in sparring, I always go hard in training.”

Andrade’s trash talk towards Lineker has created high expectations. The Brazilian could dethrone ‘Hands of Stone’ and become a superstar or turn out to be biting off more than he can chew. ONE on Prime Video 3 will reveal the future of ‘Wonder Boy.’
