Fabricio Andrade has put everything into his upcoming rematch with John ‘Hands of Stone’ Lineker on February 24.

The two heavy-hitting Brazilians will battle it out for the vacant ONE bantamweight world championship in the main event of ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video. As the two battle it out to become the best bantamweight competing inside the circle, No. 3-ranked contender Stephen Loman will be waiting in the wings.

Loman secured his spot as the probable next man in line for a title opportunity by besting ONE legend and former titleholder Bibiano Fernandes in November. Despite winning three in a row, Andrade is far from impressed with Loman’s hitlist and made that clear during a recent interview with the South China Morning Post:

“I don't think he fought anybody in their prime in ONE. But he's doing well. Bibiano is a former champion as well. He's doing well. And I need to fight, man. I want to be active. I'm going to take him out after Lineker.”

Before he gets to Loman, Fabricio Andrade will first have to deal with John Lineker and his ‘Hands of Stone’ later this month. Fans in North America can catch the massive main event showdown live and for free on Amazon Prime Video.

Fabricio Andrade hopes to be part of ONE Championship’s first event in Brazil

ONE Championship is yet to confirm its debut in Brazil, but ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong has already stated that a trip to the South American country is in the promotion’s future.

With any luck, Fabricio Andrade will feature on the card as a ONE world champion should he walk out of Lumpinee Stadium later this month with 26.4 pounds of gold wrapped around his waist.

No matter what happens on February 24, Andrade is eager to be a part of ONE Championship’s plans in Brazil and will take on any fighter the promotion puts in front of him.

In the same interview, he said:

“I just want to be on the card. It doesn't really matter who my opponent is. I just want to be on the card and be a good fighter in my home.”
