ONE Flyweight MMA world champion Demetrious Johnson may be viewed by many as the MMA GOAT for various reasons.
However, 'Mighty Mouse' believes he is far from being the complete athlete to grace the all-encompassing discipline.
The AMC Pankration and Evolve MMA representative sat down with Ariel Helwani during a recent episode of The MMA Hour to catch up on various topics related to his career.
While breaking down some of his recent success within the Brazilian jiu-jitsu circuit, Johnson explained why he's always determined to continue evolving as a martial artist.
'Mighty Mouse' told Helwani:
"I'm not the best fighter in the world. I do have my deficiencies when I fight. But my goal is to be the perfect fighter."

Based on his recent medal-clinching displays outside of MMA, it's safe to say that Johnson is on the right trajectory to achieve great things outside his bread and butter.
In September last year, the reigning ONE flyweight MMA world champion took home gold in the Master 2 featherweight brown belt division at the IBJJF Masters Worlds in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The 37-year-old finished at the top of the podium in the same division at the 2024 IBJJF Pans last month. However, he decided to better last year's tally by participating in the absolute division, where only towering grapplers awaited him.
Despite the tough challenge, 'Mighty Mouse' exceeded expectations, even defeating a 6-foot-3 250-pound opponent on his way to a silver medal finish.
