FREE FULL FIGHT: Jarred Brooks ascends to the throne in absolute scrap against Joshua Pacio in Manila

After sweeping his first three bouts in ONE Championship, Jarred Brooks earned his shot for the ONE strawweight MMA world title then held by Joshua Pacio in December 2022 at ONE 164 inside the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines.

Brooks collected the unanimous decision nod from the judges to spoil the party in Manila and become the new king of the weight class.

The full fight replay of this world championship showdown was posted by the world's largest martial arts organization on their YouTube channel, and they wrote its video description with:

"Filipino hero Joshua Pacio and American superstar Jarred Brooks threw down for the ONE Strawweight World Championship at ONE 164 - proudly brought to you by @TumiTravel!"

Knowing the threat of 'The Passion's' top-tier Wushu striking, 'The Monkey God' successfully employed and executed a grappling-heavy approach that neutralized the best attack from the defending world champion.

Brooks also threatened with multiple submission finishes to sway the judges into giving him the victory.

The American star has since relinquished the ONE strawweight MMA world title back to Pacio when he lost via disqualification at ONE 166: Qatar in March.

Nevertheless, Brooks didn't wait long to hold ONE Championship gold.

Brooks is now the ONE interim strawweight MMA world champion after submitting Cuban Olympic wrestler Gustavo Balart at ONE Fight Night 24.

The Mash Fight Team representative has made a bold move, as he now moves up in the flyweight division to face the number four-ranked divisional contender Reece McLaren on Dec. 6 at ONE Fight Night 26.

Before he gets his hands on 'Lightning' inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, Brooks was interviewed by The MMA Superfan on their YouTube channel recently, and he shared his main motivational heading into the fight, as he stated:
