Gabriela Fundora vs. Daniela Asenjo will go down later tonight at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, with Fundora's IBF women's flyweight title on the line. This fight is one of the featured undercard bouts for Serhii Bohachuk vs. Vergil Ortiz.

Fundora (13-0) is flying high in her career. Not only did she become a world champion at 21, 'Sweet Poison' is currently on a two-fight knockout streak. In her most recent outing, Fundora registered a tenth-round TKO win against the then-undefeated Christina Cruz.

In the other half of the fight, Asenjo (16-3-3) has produced mixed results in her pugilistic career. However, 'La Leona' is a former IBO super flyweight champion and is currently on a seven-fight unbeaten run.

According to Oddschecker Fundora is a -1400 favorite over Asenjo (+1000 underdog) for the match-up.

Round 1

Fundora is on the front foot. Her longer reach is helping her outland the opponent on the outside. She connects with an uppercut and follows it up with a jab and an uppercut.

Asenjo is trying to get in range and fight on the inside. However, her opponent's proficient jab game is denying her to get close. Fundora is sticking her opponent with jabs and uppercuts from the outside.

Asenjo is landing on her opponent. However, each time she lands she is getting stung with twice the more shots by her foe. Asenjo is getting hit too much. It looks like 'El Leona' is on wobbly legs. A looping right hook once against stuns Asenjo at the end of the round.
