Ham Seo Hee recently shared a video of her utilizing vicious knees in a fight.

Ham has fought all around the world, with her last promotion being RIZIN in Japan before joining ONE. During her RIZIN tenure, ‘Hamzzang’ went 3-0, including a super atomweight world championship win in her last fight with the promotion.

As the South Korean-born fighter prepares to fight again, she posted an Instagram video landing brutal knees in her RIZIN debut, with the caption saying:

“I can't wait to compete (:”

‘Hamzzang’ made her ONE Championship debut in September 2021, defeating Denice Zamboanga by a close split decision. Six months later, Ham and Zamboanga fought again to determine a concise winner. The South Korean-born fighter won again, but this time by a unanimous decision.

Ham will make her third appearance in the Circle on March 24 at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video. ‘Hamzzang’ has been matched up against Itsuki Hirata, who holds a promotional record of 5-1. ‘Android 18’ is coming off a unanimous decision win against Lin Heqin in August 2022.

What’s at stake between Ham Seo Hee and Itsuki Hirata?

Reigning women’s atomweight world champion Angela Lee is mourning the tragic passing of her younger sister Victoria Lee, understandably making her future in ONE Championship unclear.

Meanwhile, the only other ranked atomweight with a fight besides Ham Seo Hee is number one-ranked Stamp Fairtex, taking on Alyse Anderson at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video. Hence, there is an argument for Ham or Itsuki Hirata to receive an undisputed title shot or an opportunity at the interim world championship.

If ONE decides to utilize the interim world title option, the winners of Stamp vs. Anderson and Ham vs. Hirata might be matched up. With that said, all the fighters listed are focused on their upcoming bouts.

Ham vs. Hirata is joining a stacked ONE Fight Night 8 event that features two world championship fights - Rodtang Jitmuangnon vs. Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the flyweight kickboxing strap and Allycia Hellen Rodrigues vs. Janet Todd for the undisputed women’s atomweight Muay Thai world title. The event can be seen live and for free by North American Prime Video subscribers.
