'Hamzzang' Ham Seo Hee will soon be facing the Japanese Judoka 'Android 18' Itsuki Hirata. The accomplished South Korean fighter feels that there is unfinished business that the two need to resolve in the ONE circle.

Ham and Hirata were booked for a match near the end of 2022. Japan's Hirata was unable to make weight and the fight was called off. The two atomweight athletes will now meet on ONE Fight Night 8, which is booked for March 24 on Amazon Prime Video.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Ham Seo Hee discussed her philosophy coming into this match:

"I wanted to finish my unfinished business with her. So I felt good about [this fight]. There were fans with different opinions about my decision [to not accept the catchweight in] our last fight, so I wanted to finish this fight with her."

When the fight was announced, 'Hamzzang' did not mince words as she posted about it on social media. On Instagram, she simply wrote:

"I'm ready. You make weight."

As for the game plan against Ham, Hirata kept it simple. In an interview with MMA Sucka, the Japanese Judo athlete said:

"My opponent is a striker so I will be much more focused on wrestling training. That’s the key point."

Stamp Fairtex discusses Ham Seo Hee

Ham Seo Hee is a highly decorated fighter who has held championships in multiple organizations across the region. Her skills have even impressed the top-ranked Stamp Fairtex.

Thai-born Stamp has worked her way to the top of the competitive atomweight division. When asked about South Korea's 'Hamzzang,' in an interview with Calf Kick Sports, Stamp said:

"She is a very good fighter, she's a challenging opponent. But as I have said, I feel like everyone is trying to talk to me and not in a good way. I don’t really care about it."
