There’s no doubt in Jeremy Pacatiw’s mind that his Team Lakay stablemate Stephen Loman will have his hand raised against former ONE bantamweight world champion Bibiano Fernandes.

In what is expected to be a world title eliminator bout at 145 pounds, the No.5-ranked Filipino will look to push his record to 3-0 inside the circle against the Brazilian legend. They'll meet on the main card of ONE on Prime Video 4: Abbasov vs. Lee.

The much-awaited clash will take place on November 18 inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium. It will air live in US Primetime and is free for Amazon Video subscribers.

Jeremy Pacatiw, who also fights under ONE’s bantamweight ranks, has witnessed firsthand Loman’s evolution from a promising prospect to a formidable contender. While ‘The Juggernaut’ knows that Loman is considered the underdog against Fernandes, he issued a stern warning to the 42-year-old.

Pacatiw told ONE Championship in an exclusive interview:

“He can try his best but he will fail. Stephen Loman is a different animal. He’s just too strong for Bibiano Fernandes.”

Loman, of course, has only had two fights inside the circle so far after joining ONE last year. But make no mistake about it, ‘The Sniper’ is one of the longest-tenured world champions in Team Lakay, having held multiple gold straps in other promotions.

The 27-year-old slugger introduced himself to ONE fans in a big way when he took away Yusup Saadulaev’s equilibrium during his promotional debut at ONE: Winter Warriors II.

After picking him apart on the feet for the majority of the first round, Loman detonated a laser of a left hand that sent the Russian face-planting to the mat.

Loman outclassed Shoko Sato next and set up his date with the former divisional king. According to Jeremy Pacatiw, Loman has only gotten better since then and Bibiano Fernades should be very afraid once the circle door closes in their match.

Jeremy Pacatiw shares Stephen Loman’s biggest advantage over Bibiano Fernandes

Team Lakay are extremely busy at the moment as their marquee fighters are all booked for matches to close out the year.

Jeremy Pacatiw is also gearing up for his own date with destiny against the dangerous Tial Thang at ONE 164 next month.

But in the meantime, he is making sure that Loman gets all the support and help he needs for the biggest fight of his life.

In an earlier interview with ONE, ‘The Juggernaut’ said Loman’s youth and unshakable desire to be the best will push him to victory against an 'over-the-hill' Fernandes.

He said:

“I think the biggest advantage of Stephen is he has the head movement, he has a good set-up, and he’s young.”
