ONE Championship’s year-long venture to bring Muay Thai to new heights begins this Friday, January 20, inside the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Billed as ONE Friday Fights 1, or ONE Lumpinee 1 in Thailand, the much-awaited 12-fight card will showcase some of the best Thai warriors in action-packed Muay Thai bouts.
It also features two mixed martial arts fights — which is a first in Lumpinee’s rich history.
In the main event, Thai superstar Nong-O Gaiyanghadao will look to defend his bantamweight Muay Thai world title for the seventh time against streaking challenger Alaverdi Ramazanov.
The event also features the return of former strawweight Muay Thai king Prajanchai PK.Saenchai, who will look to settle his rivalry against Kompetch Sitsarawatsuer.
Meanwhile, the world's largest martial arts organization is expected to host at least 52 shows in Lumpinee this year.

Much like the rest of ONE Championship’s stellar cards, ONE Friday Fights 1 is accessible worldwide through multiple mediums. Fight fans can tune in to the hard-hitting action via television, computer, tablet, or mobile device.
The global broadcast, which starts at 7:30 p.m. Indochina time (ICT) on Friday, January 20, will air the international Muay Thai and MMA portions.
These are all available to stream for free on watch.onefc.com, ONE Championship’s YouTube channel, and ONE Championship’s Facebook page.
On the other hand, the all-Muay Thai portion of the card will air locally in Thailand on Channel 7 HD beginning at 9:30 p.m. ICT.
