“I have to do my best” - Jaosuayai ready for the main event spotlight opposite Nakrob at ONE Fight Night 32

Flyweight Muay Thai standout Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi is aware of the expectations that accompany in headlining a ONE Championship event. He, however, expressed his readiness for it, looking to provide a great showing that fight fans can bask in.

The Sor Dechapan Gym representative is featured in the main event at ONE Fight Night 32 on June 6 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. He will lock horns against Nakrob Fairtex in an explosive all-Thai flyweight Muay Thai showdown.

In an interview with combat sports journalist Nick Atkin, Jaosuayai opened up about being featured in a headlining match and the goals he has set for himself.

The 23-year-old Bangkok native said:

"Being in the main event is something unexpected for me. I thought I would be maybe the second or third bout, something like that. But now that I’m in the main event, I have to do my best."

Heading into ONE Fight Night 32, Jaosuayai is packing a lot of momentum, winning his last four matches, three of which coming by way of knockout. His most recent victory was over veteran Bosnian-Canadian fighter Denis Puric, who he knocked out in the second round of their showdown in March.

His opponent, Nakrob, is looking to start his own win streak after beating Puengluang Baanramba in his previous match.

Jaosuayai looks to advance ONE campaign with win over Nakrob

Jaosuayai views his clash with Nakrob at ONE Fight Night 32 with a lot of significance. He is looking for a win that will take his ONE Championship journey to another level.

Speaking with the promotion, he shared that battling an opponent like Nakrob is not going to be easy but the potential windfall from it will go a long way.

Jaosuayai said:

“Nakrob is definitely a challenge. He’s had a lot of fights in ONE and is currently ranked, which I think is good. If I can beat him, I’ll elevate myself to the next level and maybe even get into the rankings."

Nakrob is currently No. 5 in the flyweight Muay Thai contenders' list. A win over him by Jaosuayai should propel the latter inside the top 5.
