Thai-Algerian buzzsaw Nabil Anane believes his striking arsenal will grow even deadlier in his upcoming transition to kickboxing.

The No. 5-ranked bantamweight Muay Thai contender will make a detour at ONE Fight Night 26: Lee vs. Rasulov, where he'll face Petchtanong Petchfergus in a three-round kickboxing tiff inside the fabled halls of Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Ahead of this exciting pairing between two terrific strikers on Dec. 6, Anane explained why kickboxing's rather modest ruleset won't hinder his ability to dish out some major damage:

"Kickboxing or Muay Thai is not a problem for me," the 20-year-old phenom told ONE.

"I even think kickboxing is more suitable for me because I can use my legs to their full potential. Because kickboxing doesn't allow you to hold the legs."

Standing at a towering 6-foot-4, Nabil Anane's freakish height and reach have truly been a problem for all 145-pound fighters in 'The Art of Eight Limbs'.

Now, the Team Mehdi Zatout star will bring those insane physical tools to kickboxing, which of course, focuses more on distance management with the absence of clinching and elbows.

Anane's long limbs will indeed give him a massive advantage under this ruleset, especially since he'll have free reign to throw his absurd kicks without much resistance.

Nabil Anane's first foray into kickboxing is made even more interesting considering he'll face the former world champion at 145 pounds.

Petchtanong, who is 19 years Anane's senior, already has an astonishing 400+ career fights to his name.

Despite his disadvantage in terms of experience, the 20-year-old phenom is confident he'll be able to extend his winning streak to six this coming Friday.

The pride of Team Mehdi Zatout told the Bangkok Post:

"This is my first kickboxing fight in ONE, and I'm already facing a former champion. I think I've learned a lot. I've got more experience now. It'll be a fun fight."
