Stamp Fairtex has reflected on her recent Muay Thai seminar tour in the United States.

In the second half of 2022, Stamp hosted seminars in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Las Vegas, and more. The Thai fighter hasn’t traveled to the U.S. much, so the experience was likely eye-opening and educational. During an interview with Calf Kick Sports, she discussed the tour:

“I love it, but it was also very exhausting. It was my second time in the US, but it was my first time going this long. I don’t really have the chance to go outside of Thailand that much so this is a great opportunity and I had a great time learning about each city.”

This won’t be the last time Stamp hosts Muay Thai seminars. The 25-year-old has a lifetime Muay Thai/Kickboxing record of 63-17-5 and captured ONE world championships in both martial arts disciplines. She now has an opportunity to display her skills in a mixed-rules bout against Anissa Meksen at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video.

ONE Fight Night 6 is live and free in North America with Amazon Prime.

Stamp Fairtex believes her mixed-rules bout against Anissa Meksen is one of the most important fights of her life

On January 13, Stamp Fairtex and Anissa Meksen will compete in ONE Championship’s first women’s mixed-rules bout. The intriguing matchup will feature alternating rulesets between MMA and Muay Thai, varying by round. During an interview with ONE, Stamp detailed her excitement to fight Meksen:

“[When I got the offer], I was practicing as usual at that time. [My manager] walked up to me and said, ‘You have to fight [Meksen] in MMA and Muay Thai rules.’ And I replied, ‘Really?’ I was so excited because I know this will be one of the most important fights in my life. It will also bring me more followers.”

Stamp Fairtex is coming off an up-and-down calendar year in MMA after losing to Angela Lee and then bouncing back against Jihin Radzuan. Meanwhile, Anissa Meksen secured two unanimous decisions in Muay Thay, extending her lifetime record to 103-5. Although no title is on the line, there are bragging rights and legacy up for grabs in this highly-anticipated matchup on Amazon Prime Video.
