Streaking Iranian fighter Amir Aliakbari is seeking to have a rematch with ONE heavyweight king Anatoly Malykhin of Russia in the event he comes up with a win in his scheduled match this weekend.
The Tehran native is set for a heavyweight MMA clash against BJJ legend Marcus 'Buchecha' Almeida at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' on Nov. 8 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. He is out for a win that would set him up for a reengagement with 'Sladkiy', who knocked him out in the opening round of their first encounter in September 2021.
In a conversation with ONE Championship, which was posted by the promotion on its official Instagram account on Thursday, Amir Aliakbari sounded an alarm to Malykhin that he will going after him and his world title next.

"Inshallah, after I win, Anatoly I'm coming for you brother. Last fight I lost to him, but this fight I'll come to kill him."

The two first met at ONE: Revolution on Sept. 24, 2021 in Singapore, where Malykhin made short work of Aliakbari with a nasty left hook late in the first round of their showdown.
But Amir Aliakbari has since bounced back from the defeat, winning his next four matches to place himself as among the top contenders in the heavyweight division.
It is something he looks to sustain against 'Buchecha' at ONE 169, which will be aired live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.

While he is eyeing a possible rematch with Anatoly Malykhin, Amir Aliakbari said his focused at the moment is his scheduled match against Marcus 'Buchecha' Almeida, who he said he is ready for come ONE 169 on Nov. 8.
The Iranian powerhouse made this assurance in an interview with ONE Championship, highlighting that while he has high regard for what the Brazilian legend will be bringing to their match, he is every bit ready for it.
"I am ready to face anything that he brings to the fight. My plan is [to] do well and have a spectacular fight."
The 'Buchecha'-Aliakbari fight is one of five MMA matches featured at ONE 169.
