Michael Bisping gave a health update after covering the UFC Vegas 100 event despite being in recovery from a recent surgery. Bisping, a former UFC middleweight champion, has become an integral part of the broadcast team after retirement and enjoys a large fan following.

The 45-year-old underwent a double neck surgery in late October to treat a lingering issue and has been posting recovery updates on social media. One fan expressed his feelings after watching Bisping on the commentator's desk at UFC Vegas 100:

"I was shocked to see you working! The man, the myth @bisping."

In response, the former champion gave a health update, writing:

"I’m still in agony. 3 surgeries. Zero relief. Who knows maybe it changes but currently looking like it didn’t fix the issue. Again. Anyway. Good to stay busy as opposed to sitting round feeling sorry for one self. I feel sorry for everyone around me listening to me complain though [Laughing emoji]."

According to Bisping's social media posts, the Brit had been dealing with intense pain, headache, and discomfort over the last 18 months. He had a disc replacement surgery in September but it did little to give him relief. The recent neck surgery appears to have helped him ease the discomfort as the social media posts suggest.

However, the road to recovery seems challenging as Bisping posted pictures of him with multiple ice packs strapped to his head. The caption explained that the doctors used spiked screws to hold his head in position while they operated, causing severe pain and headaches in the following days.

That said, Bisping appears to be gearing up to resume work. Recently, he revealed that he would be taking a striking seminar on Nov. 16. The former UFC middleweight champion also shed light on the mental struggle of going through the phase and thanked his wife for the support.
