Stamp Fairtex wants nothing more than to see Denice Zamboanga and Alyona Rassohyna get their interim world title match rebooked.

Zamboanga and Rassohyna were initially scheduled to fight for the interim atomweight MMA belt on October 4 at ONE Fight Night 25. Unfortunately, their bout was canceled after Zamboanga suffered a hamstring injury a month before.

With Stamp Fairtex and Denice Zamboanga out on injury, the atomweight MMA division is at risk of becoming stagnant. If the bout had taken place as scheduled, the interim champion would have had a chance to later unify the belt against Stamp upon her return.

However, aside from all the delays, the divisional queen remains hopeful that Zamboanga and Rassohyna will get their opportunity to fight once again, as she was eager already to watch them compete.

Speaking to ONE Championship news, the Thai superstar said:

"I don't know if it's gonna happen or when it's gonna happen but hopefully, they can fight. Because I know them both, and I want to see [that] for sure."

"I hope she recovers quickly" - Stamp Fairtex wishes former stablemate Denice Zamboanga a speedy recovery

Stamp Fairtex genuinely hopes that Denice Zamboanga gets the rest she needs before coming back to the Circle again.

The two friends have a long history together, stemming from their time training at the Fairtex facility in Thailand. But since Zamboanga saw the potential of competing against her former stablemate, she moved back to the Philippines.

From there, she worked very hard to earn her shot at gold only to have it delayed time and time again due to unforeseen circumstances. Stamp is therefore eager to see her bounce back and have the opportunity that she deserves.

Upon hearing about Zamboanga's injury, Stamp told ONE:

"I heard that she will need to rest for 1-2 months before she can return to training. I hope she recovers quickly and can get back to training soon."
