Seksan Or Kwanmuang has no plans to pull back on his high-octane approach to the fight game.
After a spectacular 2023 that saw him win eight fights inside the Circle, 'The Man Who Yields To No One' returned to martial arts' biggest global stage at ONE 168: Denver for a highly anticipated clash with British legend Liam Harrison.
From the opening bell, Seksan and Harrison had fans inside Ball Arena and those watching around the world on the edge of their seat.
The two Muay Thai titans traded blows back and forth until 'Hitman' hit the mat three times in the second round, bringing an end to their incredible co-main event clash.
Following the fight, Seksan promised to always give the fans a show every time he steps inside the Circle. During the post-fight press event. he said:
"My style of fighting... I've done it for the longest time. Ever since I've been fighting and training professional Muay Thai. I will continue fighting with this style because I want to capture the hearts and minds of the fans all over the world."
Liam Harrison lays down his gloves following second-round loss to Seksan
While Seksan's combat sports career continues to thrive, Liam Harrison is willing to accept that his time to walk away has finally come.
'Hitman' returned to the Circle on Friday night following a two-year-long layoff after suffering a horrific knee injury against former ONE world champion Nong-O Hama.
Though his mind and his heart were in it, Harrison quickly discovered that his body simply couldn't take the damage anymore. During the post-fight presser, he said:
"I don't wanna be the guy who goes completely past his sell-by date and gets flattened by absolute wombles that wouldn't even touch me or be near me in my prime, you know what I mean? So I don't want to embarrass myself like that".
If this truly is the end of his career, Liam Harrison will walk away with 90 wins and more than 20 years of experience competing against some of the biggest names in Muay Thai history.
