“I won every second” - Jonathan Di Bella says he dominated Rui Botelho from start to finish at ONE Fight Night 26

Jonathan Di Bella is confident that he won every second of his scrap with Rui Botelho.

After coming up short against two-sport king Prajanchai PK Saenchai earlier this year, Di Bella stormed back into the win column at ONE Fight Night 26 via a dominant unanimous decision victory over Rui Botelho.

It was without a doubt Di Bella's most impressive performance to date as the Canadian-Italian controlled the action and overwhelmed Botelho from the first bell to the last bell. During the ONE Fight Night 26 post-fight press conference, Bella said:

"Yeah, 100 percent. 100 percent I feel like I was dominating the fight. Yeah, I believe I won every second of the fight."

With the win, Jonathan Di Bella moved to 3-1 in ONE Championship and 13-1 overall.

Jonathan Di Bella likes the sound of a scrap with Thai legend Sam-A Gaiyanghadao

Back in the win column, Jonathan Di Bella could find himself with an opportunity to avenge his only loss under the ONE banner come 2025. However, that's not the only fight on Di Bella's radar.

The former ONE strawweight kickboxing world champion also suggested a scrap with Thai legend Sam-A Gaiyanghadao:

"Oh, man, anybody, anybody in the division, you know, Sam-A [Gaiyanghadao] is great, fighting the legends. That will be a great fight."

A win over Sam-A would be a huge feather in the cap for Di Bella considering the 41-year-old legend has held every major title in the art of eight limbs — including the ONE strawweight and flyweight Muay Thai world titles.
