Indian actress clears the air on rumors of dating "scumbag" Andrew Tate

Andrew Tate is currently incarcerated and awaiting trial on human trafficking charges. Footage has emerged of the controversial former kickboxer claiming to have dated Indian actress Karishma Sharma.

She recently denied his claims, noting that she was happy when he was arrested. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Sharma stated:

"He is lying. We never hooked up. I just wanted to come out and share my side, so that people know that he is a scumbag spreading lies and just wants attention. I was really happy when he was arrested... We had a normal conversation. He told me he has an Indian mother, and we had a few shots."

She claimed that when Tate discovered she was an actress, he became insistent on taking pictures, noting:

"That’s all that happened. His texts on Instagram were very weird and inappropriate. So I disconnected with him and blocked him once I realized he is a creep and he constantly disses women and I didn’t like the way he spoke about them."

Sharma added that if she had hooked up with Tate, she would not be ashamed. She noted that the two never dated, however, his comments have led those around her to question her about the controversial social media personality. Tate is currently facing 20 years in prison in Romania if convicted of human trafficking charges.

Joe Rogan recently weighed in on Andrew Tate's message

Joe Rogan is known to discuss a wide variety of topics on his immensely popular podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. The UFC commentator recently shared his thoughts on the message that Andrew Tate presented, which was largely deemed misogynistic. Speaking to guest Dave Portnoy on episode #1920, Rogan stated:

"I don't know him. If I did know him, I would tell him all the boastful s**t and the s**t about him being the Top G and all that stuff - all that s**t's great, but the misogynistic stuff - like, if you have daughters or if you have a wife or if you have sisters, you don't want that. That narrative, putting that out there, that's negative - to everybody. It's not even positive to him. It's like, it's not necessary."

Rogan attributed Andrew Tate's success on social media to a generation of young men who feel underrepresented in the media. His message was also met with a lot of backlash, which eventually led to the removal of his social media accounts.
