Jake Paul praised the Moroccan national football team for their dream run in the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022, which was ended by the mighty Les Bleus (France's national football team) in the semi-finals. Now that the stage is set for the ultimate clash this weekend, Paul has provided his prediction for the victor.

Morocco lost to France (2-0) in the second semi-finals of the quadrennial tournament. Regardless of the outcome, the Moroccan team has already etched their names into World Cup lore by being the first African team to reach the quarterfinals. In addition to being the first team from an Arab nation to reach the final four, the Atlas Lions received worldwide support for their extraordinary campaign.

Jake Paul took to Twitter to congratulate the Atlas Lions for their valiant efforts and wrote:

"Gotta recognize what Morocco accomplished as a country…for Africa, for Arabs, and for the entire Muslim world. Y’all did the world proud."

Paul has also given a prediction regarding which team he thinks will prevail in the championship match between Argentina and France:

"France and Argentina is going to be fireworks. I got Messi and the La Albiceleste for the win."

Will Lionel Messi add a new feather to his cap by laying hands on the ultimate prize in world football, or will Mbappe and Les Blues become the first back-to-back champions since Pele and Brazil accomplished it sixty years ago?

While these questions will be answered in Sunday's showdown at the Lusail Iconic Stadium in Doha, one thing is certain: Jake Paul and sports fans across the globe will tune in to watch the clash between the football giants.

Jake Paul claims that his team has reached out to Canelo Alvarez's team for a potential fight

Jake Paul set his sights on a potential matchup with either former UFC star Nate Diaz or boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez in the future, following his stunning victory over MMA legend Anderson Silva in October of this year.

Paul is yet to taste defeat inside the boxing ring (6-0) and has regularly professed his goal of becoming a world champion. One of Paul's long-term goals is to fight Canelo Alvarez, a muti-divison boxing ace.

In a recent interview with Anthony Pompliano, Paul shed light on why a fight with Alvarez made for an exciting clash while revealing that his team has reached out to the Mexican star's team:

"We have talked to his lawyer and I think he is getting to a place where he sees how serious how I am. I think a fight with Canelo would be an entertainment spectacle. I don't think anyone has got into Canelo's head and I feel that I can, I think that is an iconic fight to make and it would shut the internet down. I think he thinks he can whoop my a** and that I am just a YouTuber kid."
