Joe Rogan's podcast getting compared to USA's alleged Cold War-era Operation Mockingbird triggers mass debate: "Is pure silence a good option?"

Fans recently reacted to a social media post comparing Joe Rogan and his podcast to a modern version of the American Cold War-era Operation Mockingbird. While some believed Rogan wasn't as independent and down-to-earth personality as many think he is, others defended the podcaster against the allegations.

For context, Operation Mockingbird was allegedly a large-scale CIA exercise that began soon after the Cold War kicked off with the mission to manipulate mainstream media for propaganda purposes.

In an X post, @e_galv referenced Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Donald Trump, and Peter Thiel coming on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast and wrote:

"The Joe Rogan Experience is a present-day example of Operation Mockingbird. It is a tool of the state/intelligence, presented to the masses as the podcast of a “down-to-earth dude” just asking some questions. ts purpose is to manage the image of characters on the world stage, release disclosures/controlled narratives and counter-narratives, and manipulate the minds of millions."

Joe Rogan shares astonishing climate change theory slamming "bullsh*t" narratives
