Fans recently reacted to a social media post comparing Joe Rogan and his podcast to a modern version of the American Cold War-era Operation Mockingbird. While some believed Rogan wasn't as independent and down-to-earth personality as many think he is, others defended the podcaster against the allegations.
For context, Operation Mockingbird was allegedly a large-scale CIA exercise that began soon after the Cold War kicked off with the mission to manipulate mainstream media for propaganda purposes.
In an X post, @e_galv referenced Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Donald Trump, and Peter Thiel coming on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast and wrote:
"The Joe Rogan Experience is a present-day example of Operation Mockingbird. It is a tool of the state/intelligence, presented to the masses as the podcast of a “down-to-earth dude” just asking some questions. ts purpose is to manage the image of characters on the world stage, release disclosures/controlled narratives and counter-narratives, and manipulate the minds of millions."

Fans soon flocked to the X post's comments section to express their thoughts on the matter and debated whether the poster's opinion held weight.
One fan wrote:
"Okay, enough is enough. So tell me then, even if Joe Rogan is also propaganda, is pure silence a good option? If everything is mind control, what is real then? How can I listen to, say, Elon Musk talk without edits if I want to hear him talk directly?"
Another fan wrote:
"I thought this too, I hope Elon and Trump wear white hats. At this point, it's hard to believe anyone."

Joe Rogan shares astonishing climate change theory slamming "bullsh*t" narratives
Joe Rogan recently discussed the subject of climate change and dismissed the notion that humans have much to do with it. During a recent episode of the JRE podcast with Mel Gibson (#2254), the UFC commentator claimed that he's studied the issue of climate change carefully.
Speaking about the human effect and narratives around it, Rogan slammed the misinformation surrounding the subject and said:
"The problem is that once a narrative gets established and then there is a profit attached to the solution to that narrative - and that's green energy and green energy bills and there's businesses that are wrapped around there. And then there is fear that they love to pump into people about climate change... The idea that this whole thing is based on carbon emissions from human beings is total bullsh**. It's not true."
