Joe Rogan recently reacted to Chris Rock's latest Netflix special 'Selective Outrage' and his merciless comments about Will Smith in it.

'Selective Outrage' marked the first time that Netflix live-streamed an event globally and Chris Rock delivered a fiery performance. Rock's stand-up comedy included a segment targeting Will Smith and his family after the infamous 'slap' saga at last year's Academy Awards.

Chris Rock made some jokes about Will Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, prompting Smith to slap him and warn him against further comments. However, Rock seemingly made up for it with a vicious takedown of the Smith family in his latest special.

Joe Rogan bore testimony to the "ruthless" nature of Chris Rock's comments during an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) with Bert Kreischer:

“The sh*t about Will Smith was ruthless! Ruthless! It’s just like, imagine, you know in life you play chess, you move pieces around, you say, ‘I do this and the counter would be that.' Imagine the thought like, 'I’m just gonna slap Chris Rock, one of the greatest stand-up comedians of all time. It’s not like he’s going to tear my very vulnerable life apart after I smack him, with some of the best comedy that anybody’s ever written.' And he’s gonna hone it over a year before he releases it. Like what a terrible, unprovoked attack. What a dumb thing to do."

Joe Rogan weighs in on UFC 286 title clash between Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman

UFC 286 will be headlined by Leon Edwards defending his welterweight title for the first time against Kamaru Usman.

Joe Rogan spoke on the abilities of the second-ever British UFC champion on an episode of the JRE podcast with light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill. Rogan praised Edwards' striking and said:

"He's so good, he's one of the most impressive guys hitting pads. His technique is so sharp! And the fluidity of his combinations... that's a world-class striker. That setup for the head kick that landed on Usman in the first fight was... textbook."

Rogan also mentioned that Usman should fancy his chances but afford his opponent more respect this time around:

"Kamaru knowing he had the fight won if he just avoided that kick... he was ahead on the cards... he's going to have to respect everything else, too... Kamaru's a f*cking nightmare, man... his mind is the thing that's most dangerous about him. "

Joe Rogan himself will not be part of the commentary team for the pay-per-view and will be replaced by the first-ever British champion in the UFC, Michael Bisping.
