John Lineker is locked in on his rematch against Fabricio Andrade.

ONE on Prime Video 3 couldn’t have gone any worse for ‘Hands of Stone.’ The former ONE bantamweight world champion started by vacating his title after missing weight. Lineker had some solid moments against Andrade, but the Brazilian rising superstar started taking over the fight.

‘Wonder Boy’ seemed destined to become the ONE bantamweight king before an illegal knee to Lineker’s groin led to a no-contest. The top-ranked bantamweights will settle the disappointing ending at ONE on Prime Video 7 in February 2023. During an interview with ONE, ‘Hands of Stone’ turned down any discussions about opponents after Andrade. He had this to say

“I have no opponent in my mind, also because my focus now is to beat Fabrício Andrade. Let's see after my fight and after the debut of ONE in the United States if any interesting opponents appear to fight.”

Lineker’s last performance at ONE on Prime Video 3 ended his calendar year with a massive disappointment. Earlier in the year, the former Brazilian powerhouse took out Bibiano Fernandes in thrilling fashion to claim the ONE bantamweight world title. Luckily, he has an opportunity to bounce back in February.

John Lineker reveals his greatest achievement of 2022

John Lineker made his dreams come true by becoming a world champion at ONE: Lights Out. During an interview with ONE, Lineker was asked about his greatest achievement of 2022. ‘Hands of Stone’ decided to answer with something other than his world title win:

“Having won the World Title was a great achievement, but this year, I found out that I'm going to have a [baby] girl. In seven weeks, she will be born. This will definitely be the greatest achievement of my life.”

Some people are writing off Lineker despite his impressive performance against Bibiano Fernandes. The Brazilian still has an opportunity to flip the script at ONE on Prime Video 7. Only time will tell if ‘Hands of Stone’ can take out ‘Wonder Boy.’
