The John Parker vs. Alivereti Kauyaca round-by-round updates are here. They will provide fans of 'The Sweet Science' with play-by-play analysis and per-round scoring for the co-main event of Ironfist Promotions' International Charity Fight Night event, which will be held at GLOBOX Arena in Hamilton, New Zealand.

The card begins on Sep. 7 at 5:00 PM N.Z.S.T. (New Zealand Standard Time) and 1:00 AM E.T. (Eastern Time) on the same date. However, for American West Coast viewers, the event starts at 10:00 PM P.T. (Pacific Time) on Sep. 6. But what of the co-main event itself?

Estimates for the walkouts are 9:30 PM N.Z.S.T. / 5:30 AM E.T. / 2:30 AM P.T. The bout is of significant importance for both men, putting the WBA Oceania cruiserweight title on the line in a 10, three-minute, round bout. Parker, who is 10-1, will have a tall task ahead of him against the 11-0-1 undefeated Kauyaca.

John Parker vs. Alivereti Kauyaca

Round 1: The round is off to a conservative start, with both men trying to find an opening. Kauyaca lands a jab but nothing else. More jabs from Kauyaca, but nothing lands this time. Parker fires back with his own jab. Another jab for Parker finds the mark.

Kauyaca backs him up to the ropes and tries to unload with some body shots. He does it again, and both men find themselves in an exchange, landing cleanly. 10-9 Kauyaca

Round 2: More pressure from Kauyaca, who is determined to sandwich Parker between him and the ropes. He digs into Parker's body with a jab to the body. More body shots from Kauyaca, who grazes Parker with an overhand right. There's just not much activity from Parker.

Parker comes up short with a lead left hook and rear uppercut. Kauyaca backs him up again, changing levels and misses with a wild overhand right. Body shots land for Kauyaca, who ends the round backing Parker into the corner. 10-9 Kauyaca

Round 3: Jabs from both men, but Kauyaca is back on the front foot. There's little to separate them though. A long uppercut lands for Parker, but Kauyaca fires back with a stiff jab. Straight rights land for Parker, and Kauyaca answers with body jabs. Kauyaca lunges in with a hook to the body.

More body shots from Kauyaca. They clinch and break, but clinch again. After a second break, Kauyaca lands a thudding body shot and cracks Parker over the top with an overhand right. Parker eats it though. 10-9 Kauyaca

Round 4: Kauyaca pumps out the body jab, once again backing Parker up. A hook to the body lands for Kauyaca. Parker eats another body shot and stumbles into the clinch before the referee separates them. Kauyaca backs Parker into the ropes again, this time landing a nice combination that snaps Parker's head sideward.

A hard right hook to the body lands for Kauyaca. The body shot lands again, with another overhand right follow-up. A left hook lands for Parker, who ends the round with an uppercut. 10-9 Kauyaca

Round 5: The pressure is immediate from Kauyaca this time, who keeps digging into Parker's midsection with body shots. He's also mixing in some jabs to the chin, before landing an overhand right. Parker is standing too upright and keeping his hands low, relying too much on speed.

Round 6: Feinting from both men. Kauya tries to seize the initiative by doubling up his jab, but nothing lands. Parker isn't backing up as much, but eats a jab from Kauyaca. Parker fires back with a jab of his own, sniping Kauyaca as the latter tries to close the distance.

Jabs to the body from Kauyaca are answered by jabs from Parker. A right hand and combination lands for Parker. They clinch and separate. Not much action from either man as the round ends with another clinch. 10-9 Parker

Round 7: Parker opens the round with a jab, stifling Kauyaca's pressure before landing a quick one-two. He seems to have found his rhythm. Kauya is pressuring him again, forcing Parker to clinch. They break and Kauyaca lunges in with a combination that doesn't find the mark.

Kauya bouncing back and forth, swinging for a wild overhand right that misses. He lands a jab though. They end the round trading and clinching. 10-9 Parker

Round 8: Jabs to the body and head land for Kauyaca, who follows up with a long right hook up top. Parker slips a jab through but eats a hook to the body. More jabs from Parker, but Kauyaca continues investing in his body work. A sniping jab lands for Parker, who is now backing Kauyaca up.

Kauyaca with another body shot, but he's on the backfoot. They clinch and break, with Parker landing more jabs. Kauyaca lands a right hand, backing Parker up. 10-9 Parker

Round 9: They trade jabs in the center, neither man willing to back up. Parker seems to be looking for a counter, but there's nothing to separate them yet. Both men keep pumping out their jabs. Parker with a right hand and uppercut. Another right hand from Parker, but it has no power.

Body shots for Kauyaca. Parker catches him with a check hook, intercepting a level change. More hooks from Parker, but he just doesn't have the power to hurt Kauyaca. Kauyaca fires back with a combination, but eats an uppercut. They clinch and stumble. The fight resumes and Kauyaca lands a jab. 10-9 Parker

Round 10: The final round starts with jabs from Kauyaca. Parker with a good combination that forces a reset from his opponent. Nice jab from Kauyaca, before a brief clinch ensues. When they break, they clinch again. A body shot lands for Kauyaca, who lands a combination up top.

More clinching. Both men are tired. More body shots for Kauyaca. This is his round. Another clinch and the referee warns them about back of the head shots. Kauyaca swings, but Parker ducks into a clinch. They end the round swinging. 10-9 Kauyaca
