Korean-American superstar Jessica Ho, more popularly known as Jessi, gave the 'Stamp Dance' some praise after watching it circulate on Instagram the other day.

Before making her walkout at ONE Fight Night 6, Stamp Fairtex performed her signature 'Stamp Dance' with one of Jessi’s popular singles, 'Nunu Nana', in front of a large Thai crowd in Bangkok. She was seen mouthing the words with a grin on her face as she moved her way down from the runway to the circle.

The K-Pop star reacted to the 'Stamp Dance' with some special emojis that ONE Championship shared on their Instagram. They tagged Stamp in the video to get her reaction:

“The “Stamp Dance” has a new fan 🤩@stamp_fairtex @jessicah_o

Stamp Fairtex immediately fangirled and responded:

“Omggggg❤️❤️❤️ i love her😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️"

After making her crowd-pleasing walkout, the Thai superstar brought the energy she received from the crowd into the cage. On short notice, she squared off against teenage rising star ‘Supergirl’ Anna Jaroonsak in a strawweight kickboxing bout.

The size difference between Stamp and Jaroonsak was just enough to intrigue fans for the entire match. ‘Supergirl’ had her moments and worked the former two-sport world champion from range with big power combinations and jabs.

But although Stamp was the smaller opponent, the potency and precision behind her shots manifested itself early.

Following a terrific back-and-forth contest, Stamp edged the victory by split decision, which earned her a US$50,000 performance bonus. Days later, Jaroonsak would also receive her bonus.

Stamp Fairtex reveals why the 'Stamp Dance' is an important part of her identity

Newer fans of ONE Championship are probably wondering why Stamp Fairtex performs the 'Stamp Dance' before every fight.

The Thai fighter has an entire process before selecting a walkout song to dance to. She does her homework well and chooses pop songs that she knows will get the crowd going.

In a past interview, the 25-year-old sensation explained to ONE Championship:

“In Muay Thai, you always perform the wai khru, which helps stretch out your muscles a bit and warm up. In ONE, we don’t have that, so dancing is a way for me to warm up and stretch out."

She added:

“I do it for the fans, and it is my thing now too. It is part of my identity as a fighter. It is a big stage, and the walkout is important. The whole atmosphere at ONE is exciting. There are so many people there, and it isn’t just about the walkout but the fight and the crowd’s reaction also.”
