Khabib Nurmagomedov's manager Ali Abdelaziz reacted to Cardi B struggling to speak without a teleprompter at a Democratic party rally. The American rapper was present at the West Allis rally in Wisconsin on Nov. 1 to show her support for the party's presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
Unfortunately for Cardi B, her teleprompter stopped working after she took the mic. There was a minute or so of awkward gestures and the 32-year-old could not continue with the speech until she was handed a phone to read her speech from.
Podcaster and entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David took to X and shared the video clip of Cardi B from the rally. The caption read:
"Beyond embarrassing. Cardi B's teleprompter wasn’t working and there was not a sentence she could get out on her own until someone gave her a phone to read off. This goes to show the nature of fake endorsements. It’s a business deal at this point."
Abdelaziz, who has dealt with a fair share of controversies, responded to the post:
"She's disgusting."
Cardi B's video went viral and many have raised questions over the authenticity of celebrities endorsing politicians in light of her struggling to form sentences without assistance. Elon Musk, who has been a vocal critic of Democratic party politics, also reacted to the incident and wrote on X:
"Another puppet who can’t even talk without being fed the words. The Kamala campaign has no authenticity or true empathy."
The 2024 United States presidential elections are scheduled for Nov. 5. Voters will choose an electoral college that will elect the president and vice president for the next four years. While Harris will represent the Democratic party in the elections, former president Donald Trump is the Republican party's presidential candidate.
