Khamzat Chimaev recently caught heat from fight fans after asking his fans to throw a reporter out of the UFC 308 pre-fight press conference. Chimaev was seemingly irked by the reporter asking Robert Whittaker a question that he perceived as disrespectful.
Chimaev is set to face Whittaker in a middleweight bout at UFC 308 at the Eithad Arena in Abu Dhabi this weekend. This would mark the Chechen-born grappling savant's first fight since his majority decision win over Kamaru Usman at UFC 294 last October. Meanwhile, Whittaker is coming off a first-round knockout over Ikram Aliskerov at UFC Saudi Arabia earlier this year.
Ahead of the highly anticipated Whittaker-Chimaev fight, 'Borz' caused some controversy by asking his Muslim fans to kick a reporter out. As mentioned, he was affected by the reporter's question and subsequent light-hearted snark, later asking him to return to Australia.
After Block Picks shared a clip of their exchange on X, fans flocked to the comments section to express their thoughts.

Max Holloway predicts Robert Whittaker vs. Khamzat Chimaev clash at UFC 308
Max Holloway recently shared his thoughts on the upcoming Robert Whittaker vs. Khamzat Chimaev fight. Holloway will challenge Ilia Topuria for the featherweight title in the main event of UFC 308 this weekend.
In an interview with Demetrious Johnson on the MightyCast podcast, Holloway lauded Whittaker for his ability to keep up the pace for five rounds and praised his incredible resume. Predicting a win for the Australian, he said:
"It’s a five-rounder… We’ve seen Khamzat get tired in three rounds, he should be training for five rounds, we all know. But it’s still his first one. Robert’s been fighting five rounds forever, that guy is just a vet. A legend, an OG of the sport. I think if he goes out there with that anti-wrestling mindset and doesn’t get held down too much, I think he can land something."
